It's that time of the year again!!!!!!

My favourite time of the year coz Mommy lets me help her bake cookies. Mommy and Dadi don't eat during the day. They only eat in the evening when maghrib arrives. However, now, Mommy sometime eats during the day coz she says baby is hungry ...

The picture below was taken two years ago ... The following year, Dadi bought for mommy stuff to bake cookies and they remained in the fridge until reaching their expiry date ... I know for sure that the flour ended up as cokodok ..or cucuq udang ..which I have learned to like ...

This year, I am old enough to do many things by myself. Mommy lets me roll out the dough ...(Mommy actually allows me to sieve the flour, control the cake mixer .. (her precious K*nwood Ch*f M*jor) and beat the egg yolks),

press out the cookies,

egg wash,

put sprinkles on the dough,

and voila .....the finished yummy product ....which i took to school ...

Then, I helped Mommy put the finishing touches on her cookies. Mommy used to sell them a long time ago ...before I came along ..no longer ...

My birthday celebration at school ...

I told Mommy I wanted to give party packs to all my friends in class .... like Kyle and Kaelyn ... so Mommy prepared 15 packs, including one for Ms Nadia and she bought me a cake to share with my friends which looked nice on the out side but not so in the inside ..I do not like cream ..bleghhhhhh ...

God knows what this is ..it looks pretty freaky to me ... Mommy was going on and on and on ..on how cheap they were at the Sydney Fish Market ..not that she could eat any ..being allergic and all ..... Dadi, on the other hand, could eat his heart's content but he lost his HTC handphone the night before and had no mood to go anywhere ...so Aunty Annie, Baba, Haykal, Aunty Siti and Uncle Fahmi had a go at them ... Tok didn't go .... coz she wanted to
update herself on her Indon sinetrons on youtube ..that is the beauty of staying at a backpackers' hostel ..free internet ... interesting experience ....

Melbourne was really cold ... this picture was taken after we were done chasing kangaroos ..they were pretty wild and refused to be taken pictures with ...Hrummpphhh!!! It was quite funny tho ...

Brisbane was a lot warmer and the kangaroos were a lot tamer and friendlier.. This was taken at the Australia Zoo ... Steve Irwin .. ring a bell?? .. CRIKEY!! I enjoyed it there ..

Finally ...this was taken in HOT and SUNNY Goldb**bs ... ooopppss... Goldcoast!!! ...(Mommy just couldn't resist that :P)

Three weeks already ....

never wear diapers ...... see, donno what all the fuss was about. I overheard Mommy getting pointers from Auntie Joji the other day. I think Mommy was quite worried about getting me up at night to pass urine. So I became a good girl and did not cry everytime Mommy woke me up.

Mommy did something wierd tho'. I remember Aunite Joji saying that Mommy should put a rubber mat beneath me when I sleep to avoid wetting the mattress and blankets. That was one reason why Mommy kept postponing my nite-free-diapers. They (Daddy and Mommylah) ..kept on saying they were going to buy but never got around to do it. Finally, Mommy improvised by putting a large carrier bag (Harvey Nor#an's kut) in between a folded towel and it was the most uncomfortable thing I had to sleep on. It lasted for a good 2 weeks or so. ..!!!

and now ..no more.

Wempit .....

I like ..

in the blazing hot sun. I take turns with Mommy. No ..no ...obviously not on the bike. I get to 'wempit' once then I have to follow Mommy shopping ..then I get to go on the bike again .. or on better days ..Daddy will accompany me and leave Mommy to venture into the jungle of factory outlets at Harbour Town. More often than not, she'll always get something for me or else she'll appear with some strange looking gadget for the kitchen ... like the pineapple-ring cutter that she bought ..Huh???? (Pikcher later 2nite)

Penji Pretty's Wedding ....

The past few days have been extremely busy for Auntie Pathma and Uncle Dev,my neighbours, as they were finalising the last minute details and touches to Penji Pretty's wedding to Uncle Nathan.

I managed to witness several interesting customary rituals that took place. I am not sure what they are called or the significance of each ritual .. but I will share some photos with you for you to decipher what they were all about.

Picnic at Lake Gardens ..

Before I update my stories and pixes of my trip to Ozzie, let me tell you what I did this evening. Daddy brought us (mom and I) for a fun time at Lake Gardens.



There was also Baba, Auntie Annie, Haykal, Daddy Lan, Iman, Achoo, Uncle Arn, Auntie Effie, Uncle Ja, Adam, Auntie Siti and Uncle Fahmi, Auntie Ada and Uncle Heri. Food was in abundance. There was nasi lemak, meehoon goreng, pita bread, salad and roast chicken, tuna sandwich, caramel and strawberry and peach panacotta (with a touch of lavender) ..heh heh .. Ala ala Nigell$ Laws0n ...

Hello ...from Sydney

Hiya friends .. hello from Sydney. I have lots and lots of stories to tell and lots and lots of photos to upload ..later ..when i come back. I am now at Sydney Airport waiting for my flight to Brisbane. We will be there for 7 nites. Internet connection is difficult aka expensive here .. so I only get to update my blog like now ..where i get free connection at the airport. Starbucks doesn't have free wifi like in Malaysia. :(

The weather has been fantastic. The sun has been shining down on us and the weather is kinda cool. Shiok betul. My staple food here is chips and gelato ..vanilla, wildberries, strawberry, coffee ..mmmmm.

Carry or not to carry ...

Today Ms Nadia carried me in class ... Oh noooo .. I didn't realized that I was being disciplined. I honestly thot Ms Nadia wanted to manja manja me ..until she said .."Oh what a pity class ..I have to carry Amira. It is such a pity. She refused to clean up after snacks ". Chehhhhh ..

Mommy has asked me to listen and to obey Ms Nadia but .........but ..I am only 3 1/2 y.o. Bagi chan lahhhh ..

My Pot Of "Pink" Gold

Today Mummy has invited Achoo to be her guest blogger...so here goes...

Just to update on those lost years when Mummy was so lazy to blog, I am now 3 years and 6 months. I used to have long curly wurly tangled hair. I have not had a decent hair cut since my birth but after my golden locks, dry but very lovely wavy locks, turned to detangle-able-kusut-conditioner-pun-tak-jalan finally, FINALLY mummy got me a haircut at Fusion KLCC. Vain or what??? What!!

Talking about vain...i love to dress in pink. I love anything that has pink colour and print. I love dresses, make-up, handbags, hair accessories and jewelleries. You name it I have it.

Mummy even brought me to Great Eastern Mall for facial and manicure. I love to manicure and paint my cute fingers. Just like Kakak Iman. I didn't like the facial though. They put cucumber on my eyes and smeared oats on my beautiful face. Luckily they didn't get to slobber the mushy green avocado. What was the lady thinking "Oats untuk makan la!Lap! Lap!" "Oats are for eating! Wipe! Wipe!" That is exactly what I told her. That should teach her not to play with food! Sheesh..

I also love to travel with Mummy and Daddy. Oh we are going to Sydney and Gold Coast, Australia very soon! Yeay I hope they'll buy me more pink stuff and not forgetting a present for Achoo! Yes yes I have to remind Mummy this. Daddy works very hard. Thats why we get to travel and best of all thanks to Mummy for her grab-all-those-travel-promotions thingy we get to stay at hotels in KL, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Melaka, PD, Penang, Brunei, Singapore, Cameron Highlands, Damai Laut and Jakarta just to name a few.

I'm enjoying school so far. I have lots of friends and we play a lot too. My drop out after a week days are over. Heheh! :P

First day of school ????? ...

Whatlah mommy ...big deal ... "look at me", "turn around", "sit there", "sit here" .... those neverending photo shoots ..Hrrrrmmmppphhh!! ..and it didn't end there ... in class ...more photos... videos ... plus other parents, too.

Not that it's my real first day of school. Many many months ago, Mom and Dad enrolled me at the KKindy. First week was okay, the second week, they decided to coop us all in one room and that was it. No more KKindy for me.

It's better this time around. It's a lot more airy and I have many friends. Ms Nadia is really cool. I like her.

I arrived very early on the first day. So early that I was the earliest child in school. Mom and I walked to school from Baba's house. Dad was too sleepy to send me.

I think I am really going to like it here .....

First and foremost, Mommy would like to apologize to Lan, 5xmom and amy_imran for not replying to their comments which were posted in June 2006 .... Mommy, being the smart person she is, just found out that there were actually comments which needed to be moderated to be published (or somethin' like that!!) today ..like 4.02 am 27/05/2007 ...bulih???? And when she actually attemted to publish them , they comments couldn't be uploaded! Humph!!

Anyway, thank you again ... and Mommy says (don't dare to promise) that she will constantly update my blog again ..
